Experiencing the Innovation and Development of CSSC, Remembering the Aspiration and Mission of Xiehe

On 21 November, the Chinese Principals of SUIS campuses in Shanghai and Directors of the Departments of Xiehe Center visited the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The purpose of the visit was not only to explore the origins and development of national industries, and to investigate how the traditional manufacturing industry moved towards the deep integration of high technology, but also to provide students with more practical platforms for patriotic education, and science & innovation education, through the school-enterprise cooperation.

After the visit, all our principals were deeply impressed by the current development of China’s shipbuilding industry, represented by CSSC. As SUISers, we feel a great responsibility to unify our thoughts and understanding with the tasks set by the 20th CPC National Congress. We shall make all our efforts to help promote fair and higher-quality education, and to pursue a stable and featured path of school development.
