On November 21, 2025, Fortune Kindergarten Yaohua Campus in Pudong held an exchange event focused on improving quality and strengthening development in non-governmental early childhood education. Two senior early education experts – Principal Fang Hongmei and Principal Yu Wenjun – were invited to provide professional guidance. Education leaders from the district and representatives from Xiehe Education Group also participated.

Principal Daisy led the experts through the campus, showcasing thoughtfully designed learning environments. From cozy living areas to upgraded outdoor sand-water zones, she explained how each space reflects the school’s philosophy of “Diverse Integration, Growing Together,” and how children’s feedback and participation shape the environment they learn in!
Principal Daisy delivered a keynote report titled “Deepening Our Educational Mission, Strengthening Quality Development.”
She systematically outlined the school’s practical strategies and notable achievements across several dimensions:
• Optimising the school environment.
• Developing characteristic curricula.
• Strengthening teacher professional growth.
• Deepening home–school collaboration.
The report showcased the school’s firm pursuit of child-centred educational quality.
In a large-group Philosophy for Children (P4C) activity, children engaged in a lively discussion around the theme “Useful vs. Useless.”
“Is crying useful or useless?”
“Is an empty bottle useless, or does it have value?”
The children expressed opinions enthusiastically, listened attentively, questioned boldly, and reasoned with curiosity. Their performance offered a vivid glimpse into how the school’s philosophy curriculum nurtures children into becoming strong, active thinkers and confident communicators.
Principal Yu Wenjun highly acclaimed the outstanding results of the P4C curriculum, noting that it:
Enhances teacher-child interaction.
Strengthens teacher professional competence.
Promotes moral development through natural integration within the community.
Aligns with the “Kindergarten Care and Education Quality Evaluation Guidelines”.
Supports high-quality, “growth-oriented” curriculum development.
Principal Fang Hongmei commended the school’s pragmatic management and strong team spirit. She praised the staff’s steadfast commitment to a “child-first approach” and the proactive responses to developmental challenges, especially in creating opportunities for children to express themselves – demonstrating strong educational responsibility.

Leaders expressed gratitude to the experts for the precise guidance and acknowledged the kindergarten’s notable achievements:
Distinctive non-governmental-school characteristics delivered through high-quality services and expat teacher staffing.
Steadfast commitments to educational culture, demonstrated through a philosophy curriculum that respects children’s perspectives and cultivates active thinkers.
Strong reputation in home-school collaboration, supported by the Xiehe Education Group.
The leaders encouraged the kindergarten to serve as a pioneer in the high-quality development of non-governmental early childhood education by summarising replicable and scalable practices that can benefit the entire district of Pudong.
At Fortune Kindergarten Yaohua Campus, high-quality development is not merely a slogan. It is a warm and purposeful philosophy rooted in educational ideals and collective wisdom.
The kindergarten is taking this expert guidance as a catalyst to:
Continue deepening the Philosophy for Children (P4C) curriculum.
Further enhance care and education quality.
The Fourth Preschool Education District of the Pudong New Area will continue leveraging resources and offering ongoing support, working with all non-governmental kindergartens in the district to advance high-quality development in Pudong’s non-governmental early childhood education – bringing more warmth, strength, and inspiration to every child’s growth.
