On the afternoon of 22 October, Ms. Zhang Xian, Deputy Chief Executive of Minhang District, visited SUIS Wanyuan. Ms. Pan Bei Lei, Deputy Director of Minhang Education Bureau, accompanied the visit.
Ms. Wang Li Qiang, Secretary of the CPC United Party Branch of Xiehe Education Center, Ms. Maxine Lu, General Principal of Xiehe Education Center, Ms. Jennier Jin, Expert on Supervision and Evaluation of Xiehe Education Center, and Ms. Cayor Zhu, Assistant Director of School Management Department of Xiehe Education Center; along with Principals from SUIS schools in Minhang District: Ms. Spring Li (SUIS Jiaoke), Ms. Linda Du (SUIS Hongqiao, Longbai No. 1 Primary School), Ms. Maria Wu (SUIS Shangyin), Mr. Bright Liu (SUIS Gubei), and Mr. Paul Quan (SUIS Wanyuan), attended the visit together.
Accompanied by Mr. Paul Quan and other leaders from Xiehe, Ms. Zhang Xian toured the campus, visiting facilities like the STEM Center, LRC, etc. The district leaders gained detailed insights into the school’s subject classroom setup, differentiated teaching model, and distinctive school teams. They offered encouragement and recognition for Xiehe’s educational philosophy and its practical achievements.

Ms. Zhang Xian pointed out that one of Minhang District’s strengths is its robust development in both public and private education. She highly praised Xiehe Education for its outstanding contributions to regional education development. At the same time, she acknowledged the difficulties of deepening educational efforts and encouraged Xiehe to continue leveraging its resources and strengths. She expressed her hope that by deepening “district-school cooperation,” both sides could join hands to work towards quality development, further enhancing core competitiveness and injecting more wisdom and strength into the educational development of Minhang District.
