On November 9th, the 2024 Xiehe Inter-school Sports Tournament (Middle & High Schools Teams) kicked off enthusiastically at SUIS Qingpu.
Ms Vivian chen, Chairperson, Xiehe Education Development Foundation, delivered a speech on “My Olympic Story: Running towards the Light of Dreams”. 22 teams and over 300 players from 8 SUIS campuses gathered to participate in the U15、U19 Boys’ Football & Basketball and compete fiercely for honor and dreams.

Sports Competition Promoting Connections
Xiehe Education always adheres to the core concept and mission of “East Meets West， Develop harmoniously”. Through the platform of inter-school sports leagues, it enhances communication and integration between various campuses. This will enable previously unfamiliar classmates to get to know each other and establish mutual friendships through this league. The campuses learn from each other through cultures collision, injecting new vitality into the overall development of each school.
U15 Boys’ Football
On the green field, the young football players in the junior high school group are like a group of brave cheetahs, chasing the rolling football at lightning speed, with endless vitality and passion in every sprint.
U19 Boys’ Football
The high school players are like mighty lions, calmly and powerfully controlling the pace of the game. Their passing is like flowing clouds and water, repeatedly tearing open the opponent’s defense and leaving people amazed.
Forging Character for Balanced Development
Xiehe Education focuses on the holistic development of students, and the continuous noise of cheers on the playground make Saturday’s campus full of vitality and energy. At this moment, the spirit of sports is fully reflected, and perseverance, unity, cooperation, and courage to challenge have become important components of campus culture. U15 Boys’ Basketball
Quick dribbling, agile turning, decisive shooting, a series of movements that come together in one go, leaving people dazzled. The sound of basketball hollow into the net is like a horn of victory, inspiring players to move forward bravely.
U19 Boys’ Basketball
The high school players are like dignified towers, demonstrating strong dominance on the basketball court. Every dunk is like a thunderbolt, shaking the entire court.
