The Graduation Show
The opening performance by the trainee teachers was truly eye-catching. The self-directed graduation spectacle featured ballet, singing,dancing and Rap, with a blend of humor and depth. These teachers, who excel both on the podium and on the stage, are all versatile individuals. This was not only a feast for the eyes and soul but also a significant breakthrough and leap in their growth journey, signifying that along with Xiehe Education, which has just reached its third decade, they bravely embark on a new journey.

Members of the “Stars Project” Steering Committee, mentors, and representatives from all Xiehe campuses attended the event, jointly witnessing the highlight moment in the careers of the trainee teachers. They were impressed by the talents of the teachers and frequently applauding and offering encouragement.

Turning the Tassel
Ms. Catherine Qin from the School Management Department congratulated the trainee teacherson their excellent graduation results and extended heartfelt wishes. Subsequently, she announced the list of graduates. The certificate-presenting guests, composed of members of the Management Committee and mentor representatives, performed the capping ceremony for the tassel turning ceremony for the trainee teachers and took group photos for commemoration. The meaning of the capping ceremony represents the ripening of rice or wheat ears, symbolizing that the graduates have acquired knowledge and are ready to spread their wings and fly high.

Ms. Scarlett Sun passionately shared her growth experience at Xiehe. She felt very fortunate to have always been “seen,” with guidance and encouragement from principals and seniors, whether she encountered setbacks or made small progress.
Ms. Maggie Zhang, always optimistic and confident, shared her three secrets on how to keep positive: “Find yourself, Radiate Vitality; Be Aware of Yourself, Empower Positively; and Be Honest, Receive Feedback.” She sincerely wished everyone to shine brightly and feel the beauty of life.
Ms. Lisa Chen, from a public middle school entrusted by Xiehe Education, shared her unique experience in both public and private education, as well as the dual realms of “Peiming Spring and Autumn” and “East Meets West,” based on her keen perception as a research-oriented teacher. Passionate about reading, she also recommended two books on her desk: “The Sky of Traditional Chinese Learning” by Taiwan scholar Fu Peirong and “Walden Pond” by American writer Thoreau, both presenting the fusion of Chinese and Western philosophical thoughts, hoping to inspire those who are practicing the concept of”East Meets West” in educational filed.Panel Discussion
The final segment of the ceremony was a panel discussion hosted by Ms.Catherine Qin from the School Management Department. The guests included General principal, representatives of principals, mentors of the Stars Project, and champions from two consecutive Stars Projects. They engaged in a brainstorming discussion on “The Qualities Required of Xiehe Leaders at Present and How to Optimize Future Stars Project Programs” from their respective professional perspectives. The audience also offered their suggestions.
