On the afternoon of November 19, 2020 (Thursday), Chen Yujian, deputy secretary of Minhang District Party Committee and Minhang District Chief, Fu Aiming, Director of Minhang District Government Office, and Zhu Xueping, Secretary of the Education Party of Minhang District, visited Shanghai United International School Wanyuan Campus for investigation. Maxine Lu, the General Principal of Xiehe Education Group, and Paul Quan, the Principal of Campus accompanied with them.
The district leaders visited the unique campus environment and communicated with the faculty and staff. They also had a detailed understanding of the education and teaching management, the establishment of campus culture and students’ recreational and sports activities.
In the following discussion，Chief Chen first affirmed the contributions made by Xiehe Group to the high-quality development of education in Minhang，and he thought that the advanced teaching philosophy and teaching method of the culture blending are worth popularizing and using for reference. He said that the district government will continue to support all schools of Xiehe Group to cultivate talents who have a sense of committed patriotism and the international integration of Chinese and Western talents, so as to foster and provide outstanding talents for the development of Minhang and all industries in the country. Finally, he suggested that the whole district education system should strengthen on learning and communication, sharing with other schools, meanwhile strengthen on talent cultivation and hoped that Xiehe Group could give full play to the leading school of non-governmental shcools and contribute to promoting Minhang’s education level.
