Starting with the speech delivered by Ms. Maxine Lu, the General Principal, Xiehe Education Center Teachers’ Day Celebration 2023 was held on September 9 as scheduled.

Dedication to Teaching and Learning

To commend the spirit of dedication and hardwork, Ms. Zhao Xia, the Vice Chairperson, announced the Gold Badge Awardees who had worked at Xiehe Education for just over ten years. The number of awardees has reached 120 this year. In addition, those awardees in the spotlight were presented in a video at the conference.

Professionalism in Ethics and Competence

During the keynote speeches session, Ms. Wu Qiong (from Shanghai Yangpu Dadi Kindergarten), Ms. Wei Zhongjie (from Fortune Kindergarten Xinlicheng Campus), Mr. Johnny Yang (from SUIS-WX), Ms. Jovie Maquilas Narciso (from SUIS-HQ) shared their experiences in their 10-year service at Xiehe.

Commitment to Staying Positive and Innovative

At the conference, it is suggested that Xiehe Education should adhere to its unique educational philosophy, embrace the external changes, make efforts to play a role model in leading international education in the Yangtze River Delta region and strengthen the internal collaboration. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is going on. Hence, the teaching and learning pattern also needs upgrading.

The conference was hosted by Ms. Wang Liqiang, the Secretary of the CPC General Branch of Xiehe Education. Ms. Sunny Huang, the Co-Principal of SUIS-QP, was the moderator of the keynote speeches session. Members of the Center’s Decision-Making Committee, Heads of Departments of the Center, Chinese and expat principals of SUIS and Xiehe kindergartens, and staff representatives who have worked at Xiehe for just over ten years gathered online and offline to celebrate the occasion.
